Well I got Sky+ installed on Friday and all I can say is wow!

What a wonderful piece of machinery! I don’t know how I have managed all these years without it….

The only proplem is that I am recording everything that’s on LOL. I don’t know how I am going to find the time to watch it all!

So after looking after my son for the past week, firstly with a rather nasty stomach bug, then on the verge on an asthma attack due to getting a chest infection; It’s my turn now…..

I’m hopeful that I have passed the danger zone of the stomach bug, but I have woken up this morning with a sore throat and cough. I feel really ucky, but like all mums no rest for the wicked and on I battle!

So it’s November and in my neck of the woods in the south of England the temperature is going to be 18 tomorrow. The night time temperatures are what it should be during the day at this time of the year.

My garden looks like it is still September, my lavatera (sp?) is still flowering as are my fuschias. My roses have budded for the second time this year and my fig tree is still producing fruit and still got it’s leaves. What’s going on?????

I would like the weather to go cold as there are so many stomach bugs and coughs and colds going about that they need to be killed off.

I want SNOW!! : )

Well here we are on the 1st November.

How quickly is this year going? I have got nine dinner/lunch/shopping dates with friends and family lined up already before Christmas and i’m still trying to squeeze in more!

I awoke my son this morning with “It’s Christmas next month!” and he had the biggest grin on his face! Also it’s his birthday in a couple of weeks so he is counting the days down.

My son also opened up an advent calendar this morning, my mum couldn’t decide which advent calendar to get him so she got him two and gave him one for November! She has stuck a picture on his birthday and on the 25th she has written “Yeah it’s christmas in a month” LOL! Bless her!
