Raven Hart was introduced to me by the Book Club Forum last year where I won a competition winning The Vampires Seduction and the Vampires Secret; both of which were signed by Raven Hart herself.

 I am now about to start the third book in the series, The Vampires Kiss.

As Jack puzzles over the mystery of Connie and Seth’s past, he must remind himself that Connie is more than merely mortal. The fact that Connie’s also a Mayan goddess is bad enough, but what else voodoo mambo Melaphia discovers about her could mean the end of Jack, William, Werm, and the rest of the Savannah fang gang!

I started reading this book a few days ago and it’s fantastic!

The dwarfs in particular have to be my favourite characters so far, they have made me laugh out loud! I love the way the endings of well known fairytales have been changed in this book. It’s a good lighthearted read with plenty of smiles.

Very sadly my favourite Uncle who lives in Canada passed away yesterday.

A month and a half ago they thought that he might have lung cancer so they were running tests to confirm it. But unfortunately at the weekend he got rushed to hospital with pheumonia (sp?) where he then had a stroke and slipped into a coma and died.

I am devastated. I hadn’t seen my Uncle for about 20 years but we stayed in touch with emails, letters, postcards and phone calls. It was always my plan to save up the air fare and go and visit him but sadly he has been taken far far too early (he was only 65).

I have been walking around in a daze since my Dad told me. I am taking comfort that he is looking down on me and taking care of me.

RIP Uncle Peter, you will be greatly missed and I loved you very much.

As I have received this award, I am supposed to list 7 weird or random things about myself. Hmmm this could be tricky!

1. I believe in Angels. I truly believe that I have a guardian angel who looks after me.

2. I have a resident ghost in my house. I think it is the previous owner. He likes to turn my tv’s on and off and take my sky card out of the box and put it back in the wrong way…I also get whiffs of perfume/aftershave quite a lot.

3.  I have got white knees as they never tan even though the rest of my legs are brown. lol.

4. I have a cuddly pink and white dog which you heat up in the microwave and I cuddle it every night. She is called Lucy.

5. I am a Daddy’s girl.

6. I am addicted to bread. I cannot go a day without eating it or else I get withdrawal symptons and start craving it.

7. I gave up smoking over a year ago! : D
