Once again ii has posted a lovely view of when we lose a loved one.
With my Mum having cancer, we have had to come to terms with the fact that we will probably lose Mum before her time and I thought this was a lovely way of looking at things.
You know, when maman died it actually made me feel better to think that she’s up in heaven with the stars, and eveytime I saw a star I waved up to her, and told her I was okay.

A friend of mine has just posted this on the BCF forum and I thought it was just such a nice way to look at your body image that I had to post it here. (Hope you don’t mind ii!)
As far as beauty ideals and stuff like that go, forget the scale, forget the size number in your clothes (it’s just a number anyways, and if it bothers you, cut it off!) and trust the mirror and your good sense. If you look in the mirror and see a girl with a smile, then you’re okay.
Next time I am feeling down about putting on a few extra pounds I will remember this quote.
