International Fairy Bread Appreciation Day

fairy-bread

International Fairy Bread Appreciation Day is on the second Sunday of January every year. So this year it will be falling on the 11th January.

Fairy bread is white bread spread lightly with butter or margarine and then sprinkled with 100s and 1000s and then cut into triangles.

Is anyone taking part in this? I will be making some on Sunday and will post some pictures! 🙂

  1. I have never heard of this before but I’m quite intrigued. I feel the need to decorate my bread with 100’s of 1000’s now. 😀

  2. I haven’t tried it either – bet it tastes yummy! Roll on Sunday (if I can wait that long lol)

  3. I seem to remember us doing that for a snack for the kids at toddler group!!
